Jay Cadigan is a Vice President of Industry Relations for Manheim.  In this role, he is responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with Manheim’s partners across the industry.  In addition, he leads Manheim’s strategic efforts to develop, promote and establish consistent standards, processes and policies that further the industry.
Prior to this role, Cadigan held a variety of leadership positions within Manheim.  He served as market vice president for Florida and Puerto Rico, where he oversaw the day-to-day activities of the 12 locations in that market. Cadigan brings over 35 years of diversified remarketing experience to his role.  
Cadigan also spent three years as vice president of sales and operations for the General Motors and Avis Budget Group accounts for Manheim.   Before that, Cadigan served as general manager of Skyline Auto Exchange (now Manheim NY Metro Skyline) in Fairfield, N.J.  During his 11 years in this position, he also was general manager of the Port Newark facility. 
Cadigan began his automotive career working at a car dealership during high school and college.  In 1976, he joined Avis Car Leasing and held numerous positions during his career there, including national auto auction sales manager where he first gained exposure to the auction business. Cadigan also worked for Hertz Car Leasing in various roles including national retail sales manager and NY Zone car manager, and at US Fleet Leasing, San Mateo, Calif., as vice president car sales. In 1989, Cadigan joined Golden Gate Auto Auction where he eventually became assistant general manager, a position he held until joining Skyline Auto Auction in 1993.
Cadigan is a past president of the National Auto Auction Association (NAAA).  He currently serves on the NAAA’s Executive Committee and Board of Directors.   He is also a past President of the Eastern Auto Auction Association.
He received his B.A. degree in Management from St. Mary's College of California in Moraga, California.
